The Pheasant & Waterfowl Society of Australia hosts their General Meetings on a bi-monthly basis.
They are designed to encourage a social event amongst like-minded individuals. These are often hosted at locations that are significant to Aviculture, and have included some of the best private collections of parrots, softbills, wildfowl, and zoos.
These events are completely free. The General Meeting will be hosted at John Urane's property in Greenbank. Here you will be able to see a wide array of Pheasants and other birds.
Following this meeting, around 1pm, we will make our way to Klaus Sietas' property. Here you will be able to see a wide array of Parrots and Finches, as well as some immaculate gardens. At this time of year there will be an array of orchids flowering, something Klaus has said is quite spectacular in November!
Please RSVP to the Event if you are attending.
Below are some photographs of the time some of us attended during the Parrots 2018 Convention!
