The Pheasant and Waterfowl Society (PWSA) is conducting a "Reeves's Pheasant Breeding Recovery Programme" for the species.
Numbers of this magnificent pheasant species have declined in Australian aviculture and their long term future is threatened if the trend is not reversed.
Members and guests keeping and breeding Reeves's pheasants are encouraged to contact the PWSA at hello@pwsa.org.au to have their details added to the breeders stud book.
